The Footnotes is a multimedia business full of people who care about sharing interesting stories and content that goes beyond “puff-spiration” and genuinely helps people on their own life and career journey.

We are on the hunt for a digital content intern for our Sydney based office who wants to be a part of the journey one to a few days a week. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to get hands on experience with media production for the first time with support provided.

What you’ll be doing: The tasks will be pretty wide-ranging: from learning to pitch and publish your own stories, to designing visual banners and content for the site and social media – this is an all-rounder role that will see you touch on a lot of different mediums.

  • Ideally an entry level design, comms or journalist student or graduate looking for experience
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro
  • A passion for writing – you want to produce content that excites and informs
  • Someone with initiative. Do you have an idea for a video interview, a podcast, a photo gallery? Let us know and we’ll help you develop it
  • Graphic design knowledge is desirable – but anyone who loves print as a medium or who is creative by nature would suit.

What you won’t be doing: you won’t be getting coffee or doing menial work – you’ll walk away with real skills and industry knowledge.
